Reconciliation

We take reconciliation seriously and understand our responsibility to ensure the next generation of Australians grows up with connection to and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, people and history.

Reconciliation is woven through everything we do.

Our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and respect the continuing cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As educators we aspire to do this by supporting our community to develop understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultural heritages and continuing contributions, building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our children learn, play and grow, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the ongoing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country, culture and community.

As an early learning community, we are committed to nurturing respect, understanding and belonging, and to teaching children to care for the land and for one another.

We recognise that sovereignty was and always will be Aboriginal.
