Toddlers' Room
Our nurturing environment provides a structure that allows the children to grow and learn while feeling safe and comfortable.
Children are given daily opportunities to explore and learn through age-appropriate equipment, toys and projects.
Children in the Toddlers’ Room are encouraged to try to use their words to express their needs, feelings, ideas and wants. All experiences and activities in the Toddlers’ Room are carefully developed to create learning experiences and social experiences through play, projects, and activities.

Learning Through Play & Exploration
Toddlers learn best through hands-on experiences and play. Our program encourages curiosity, movement, and discovery through:
-
Sensory and messy play
-
Music, movement, and song
-
Open-ended materials and loose parts
-
Outdoor play and nature exploration
Children learn from each other and their environment, developing early social skills, communication, and problem-solving through everyday interactions.

Supporting Independence
As toddlers grow, we encourage independence at a pace that feels right for each child. Educators support children to:
-
Begin self-help skills such as washing hands and packing away
-
Make simple choices
-
Explore routines with confidence
-
Develop emotional regulation with adult support
Every achievement—big or small—is celebrated.
