Involvement for Parents

Book Donations

Children love to read so parents of hippos are always welcomed in donating books their children loves or has loved. This only helps to grow the library the children have access to and encourages them to read all the new books that are brought in.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our children learn, play and grow, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the ongoing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country, culture and community.

As an early learning community, we are committed to nurturing respect, understanding and belonging, and to teaching children to care for the land and for one another.

 

We recognise that sovereignty was and always will be Aboriginal.
