Employment

The Service selects its staff using a comprehensive recruitment process in order to ensure all teaching staff have the expertise and commitment to enable our children to reach their potential both academically and personally.

If you share our passions and have the right qualifications and experience we would really like to hear from you.

Hippo’s Friends is an equal opportunity employer. Employment with the Service is conditional upon the applicant satisfactorily obtaining and maintaining a valid clearance under the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012 (NSW) and any other applicable child protection legislation (as amended or replaced from time to time).

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our children learn, play and grow, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the ongoing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country, culture and community.

As an early learning community, we are committed to nurturing respect, understanding and belonging, and to teaching children to care for the land and for one another.

We recognise that sovereignty was and always will be Aboriginal.
